Trade & referral partners
A lighting design partner at any stage of the project
We work with custom home builders, landscape architects, architects, AV and home automation integrators, pool and hardscape contractors, and property and HOA managers. This page is for you, not the homeowner intake queue.
When to involve us
The best time to coordinate is before pavers, hardscape or artificial turf go in.
New sod is rarely a problem for us. Finished pavers, hardscape and artificial turf are different: once they are installed, getting wire across them is harder. Before they go in, sleeves, conduit, wire routes, crossings and transformer locations can still be coordinated easily.
We can also join a project later. It is not too far along for us. Early coordination simply gives everyone more options and can avoid unnecessary disruption or added cost.
Who we work with
Disciplines we partner with regularly.
Custom home builders
Where we are involved before pavers and hardscape go in, sleeves, conduit and transformer locations can be planned with you. On a project already under way, we work with what is there.
Landscape architects
Lighting designed around your planting plan and how the landscape will grow in, not only how it looks at handover.
Architects
Lighting considered alongside the architecture, so the effect is seen and the fixtures are not.
AV & home automation
We can design landscape lighting control to work with the platform you are installing, including Lutron, Control4 and Savant.
Pool & hardscape contractors
Where lighting is part of the project, coordinating sleeves and crossings before pavers, decking or artificial turf are installed helps avoid disturbing finished work.
Property & HOA management
Entrance and common-area lighting, permanent roofline lighting, holiday décor and ongoing care.
How the relationship works
How we work with partners
- We can quote through you or directly to the client, depending on the relationship and what is agreed up front.
- For appropriate larger projects, we can provide design documentation, drawings and fixture schedules that can be incorporated into the project documentation.
- We respect your relationship with your client. We would not solicit your client for a service you have the ability to provide, directly or indirectly.
- Referral arrangements are available for ongoing partners.
